MYSTERIOUS VESPER

Vesper Lynd, being one of my favorite Bond girl fashionistas, has one mysterious outfit that we never get a clear look at in Casino Royale. The outfit is worn as she visits Bond during his hospital recovery. However, we do get a glimpse of the color she is wearing, which is a beautiful light turquoise green. I've spent time creating outfits that have these similar colors in mind, and what accessories Miss Lynd would have matched with her outfit. I have shared a few favorite pieces. Enjoy!

SHE LOVES ONLY GOLD

I love having "goldfinger" nails and I have been searching for the perfect shade of gold for ages. I recently came across "Golden-I" (appropriately titled) by Sally Hansen, and I have been in love ever since. Not too yellowish gold, but a perfect metallic shade of subdued color, this nail polish is fantastic and a number one go-to for bond girl nails.

Elektra King from The World is Not Enough once said "There's no point living, if you can't feel alive"... Well, one can't feel more alive when skiing, which is why I created this wintery look inspired by Elektra's snow outfit. One of my favorite winter accessories is a fur headwrap, which I am happy to feature as part of this look.

Bond Girl "Forever"?

Although receiving positive feedback on Avon's Bond Girl 007 and Bond Girl Forever Fragrances, the retailer has unfortunately called off the manufacturing of the products. Bondettes, have no fear, there may still be ways to land the floral fragrance. Amazon is still offering the bottle for $39.99 (www.amazon.com) and if you happen to get lucky, you may just find a few unopened bottles for sale on eBay (www.ebay.com).

We can say without doubt that the fragrance (which Quantum Bond Girl Gemma Arterton fronted) was one of Avon's best perfumes - Bondettes won't accept anything but the best. Therefore, it might be a good idea to drop Avon a friendly e-mail and tell them how much you enjoyed the fragrance and if they will consider bringing it back for another season.... Never say never!
